What was done
Removed the old siding, replaced damaged wood underneath, partially updated the weather-resistant membrane, and installed new fiber cement siding with upgraded soffits for a cleaner, stronger exterior.
Key difficulties
The main challenges were working with an older exterior, hidden wood damage under the existing siding, and weather-sensitive installation. We had to carefully inspect the wall system, replace compromised areas, update the membrane, and keep the project protected during changing conditions.

Demolition and Inspection
We started by removing the old wood siding and opening up the exterior walls for a proper inspection. Damaged wood was replaced, and new weather-resistant membrane was installed where needed to protect the home before the new siding went on.

Work in progress
Proper siding installation is all about details: correct fastening, flashing around windows and joints, sealed transitions, and moisture control behind the fiber cement siding. We follow manufacturer guidelines to protect the wood structure and prevent future water damage.

Results
The entire project was completed in just 14 days. The home now has a fresh, refined exterior with repaired wall areas, new fiber cement siding, and upgraded soffits - built to protect the structure and keep the house looking strong for decades.
